Happy New Year to all of our friends and family. We are still in Arizona. We spent the last couple of weeks in a town called Buckeye, which is just outside Phoenix. We made it out of California. finally. The first thing we noticed was the speed limit. 75 miles per hour... for those of us working in the KM side of thing, that's close to 125 km/h, with no posted speed sign for trucks and trailers. I don't think any of them were going 75... but we did speed up a little along with the rest of them. In California, the speed limit for trucks and trailers is 55 MPH, which is reasonable.
